My Notes for Rees

This is for the Rees' benefit later in life (I plan on doing the book thing since this is basically my journal). It's probably going to sound silly so beware...

Rees is starting to do all the cute little things I have always dreamed about. He has recently started sucking on his toes. Before he found his toes, he would suck on his fists. He would get so frustrated because he would try and fit both fists into his mouth at the same time but couldn't. Once he figured out his mouth wasn't big enough. He would stick both fists up to his mouth and move his mouth back and forth between both fists as fast as he could until he got frustrated. Now he does the same thing adding his foot in there. Lets just say watching him try and suck on both fists and at least one foot at the same time can be ssoooo entertaining.

Rees is also Mr. Grab Monster. His hands move so fast that most of the time, he has what he wants before I even see him flinch. Yesterday, I had this huge yawn. The kind that I leaned my head back and closed my eyes while I yawned. Mid-yawn, a little fist found its way into my mouth! I about choked to death between the yawn, Rees' fist, and my trying not to laugh.

I have tried to stop nursing Rees to sleep. Now to settle him down, I give him his pacifier and sway with him while I sing one verse on I am a Child of God. His new favorite thing to do at this time is not get drowsy but stick one finger in mouth like a fish hook. He laughs through the whole song while doing this.
