Deathtrap

When I was home last, my mom showed me this totally awesome movie that for some reason, has been on my mind all day. Deathtrap, starring Michael Caine and Christopher Reeves. My buddies know I LOVE old movies and this kinda one of those. The good news is that this has so much happening instead of being one of the snoozers I usually watch. The first little bit is slow but the plot very quickly picks up. I totally recommend this to anyone wanted something totally different from the norm. One word of warning though, there is a one man-man kiss in it but you can totally tell it is coming so you have lots of time to close your eyes.

Jerry Seinfeld Wannabe

Unfortunately, Benjy and I LOVE sitcoms. We love them so much that we have realized that everything we talk about can some how relate to a show, especially Seinfeld and Friends. For instance, there are many times when we are at the dinner table and joking around. If I get a good jab in Benjy will grab may plate away from me and yell, "NO SOUP FOR YOU! COME BACK IN ONE YEAR!" (The Soup Nazi)and then it seriously takes me forever to get my dinner back. And every time I look extra tall (I know, hard to believe I could get taller) Benj asks if I am wearing lifts (The Stand-In). The stories are endless. I think Benjy has a "non-sexual-man-crush" on Jerry (also from the show).

My Boring Life

So I am starting to realize I am incredibly boring. The only stories I have to tell are of Rees and I know that isn't always super fun to hear about. So I thought of something to share. Yesterday, I went to Walmart and saw a miracle. I had my pick of multiple open check out stands. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the Orem Walmart....be happy. Supposedly, the Orem Walmart is the busiest one in the whole country. So there is my interesting story to my interesting life. No lines at Walmart, yipee!

It's an end of an era

When we were are the Comeau house, we got a great surprise. Benjy's parents bought new couches!! This may sound like no big deal but for them, it is a HUGE step. The previous set of couches had been in their home for at least 15 years. They were so bad that the floor was more comfortable to sit on. I think the Comeau's made up for lost time though. They bought these AMAZING leather couches. They are incredibly comfortable and have all the recliners and everything.

Weekend Plans

We are heading to Benjy's parents house for the Easter holiday, Benjy's Birthday, and his Mom's Birthday. If any of you rabbits or Esther (sorry, she is the only one of my friends I could think of that might be going that direction) are going to be there too, give us a call.

Trip to the Valley

I know, I haven't posted in a while. But here is why... Benjy had some job hunting to do in Vegas so we got to go see my parents for over a week. It was wonderful!! The weather was so nice and warm, we got to see alot of baseball games, visit with friends, go four-wheeling, watch some really good movies, help some people with their houses, etc. We all had such a good time that we were so sad to leave. Since the job situation didn't work out then, we will get to head back again in June and we can't wait.

The Disappearing Baby

Every time I left Rees alone in the room for a second, Rees would totally disappear. Turns out that Hayden was "rescuing" him from the women. He would take Rees into his room to watch him clean and look at all the sports stuff. It was pretty funny.Getting a massage in Hayden's room

First Time 4-wheeling!!

Rees got to ride his first four-wheeler ever. Benjy was so excited. He has been waiting to take his kid four-wheeling since he found out I was pregnant. Rees didn't show any emotion though so I do know how he felt about it. For all of you out there panicking...Benjy stayed in the backyard and never even left th first gear.

Family Picture

I have recently realized that we have very few pictures of the three of us together. I finally remembered to have some one take one while we were hanging out at my mom's house. Rees looks funny but that is only because he wouldn't stop squealing. I sounded cute while he was doing it but it just doesn't look so cute on film.

Baseball

We spent MANY nights watching my little brothers baseball games. I love baseball so I had a blast. Here are just a few of the cute pictures from some of the games.Hayden at bat

For Esther and Meka

When we are getting ready to go on a trip, I lay everything on the bed before packing it up. This makes it easier to pack more efficiently and forget let items. Well, I has Rees on the bed while I was packing. I left the room (only for, like, two seconds) to grab some things out of the bathroom and when I re-entered the room, I didn't see Rees. Then I realized he just blended right in. Can you find him?

P.S. I this post is titled "For Esther and Meka" as an inside joke. I would love to share the story with everyone but I prefer for people to see my ditziness for themselves

Me and My Babe

Milestones

I have totally hit a reminiscent phase. I just started to realize how quickly Rees has grown and how much he is learning. He has been rolling over, started reaching and holding toys (as of yesterday!!), and now he is started to show alot of interest in sitting up. When we lay him on the ground, he has started doing little crunches to try and sit up. It totally cracks me up. Here are just a few pictures of him playing.

Great Grandpa & Grandma Davy

My Grandparents stopped to see us on their way to Florida. Here are a few pics!
