Benjy and I are still trying to figure out how to go on with life with an infant. This weekend was very monumental. Friday night we met up with the Carter Fam and went out to dinner. Afterwards they came back to our apartment to hang out. We had so much fun. I had forgotten how much I like being with people and doing stuff on the weekends. Their kids were so cute with Rees also. Emma even gave Rees his night time bottle. So cute!! Saturday night we drove to Saratoga Springs and .........I left Rees with a babysitter (thanks Chris! You are a life saver)!!! We went to the Browns home. They had a bunch of couples over and we played Guitar Hero, shoot some pool, and played some Wii games. I would like you all to know that I kicked Benjy's butt boxing. It gave me a real ego boost. Anyways, it was so fun to get out and see friends. Hopefully this will kick start us into getting back into our old life. Yeah!

I'm glad you guys had fun! We'll have to get together again when you guys get back from Vegas. Emma kept asking me where did the baby go. I'm glad to see her act so good with Rees just prepin me for the future! Talk to you later!
it's amazing how hard it is to "get back out" after you've had a baby. Nick and I are just starting to hang out with friends and we're going to have another baby and go back into "hermitville" Hope you guys make "the outside world" a regular occurance!!!!

Sounds like he is so much fun, and he is lucky to have such fun parents! I loved looking through your blog and catching up on everything you guys are up to! I will be checking it out often :)
YAY FOR THE OUTSIDE WORLD! LOL! I know where you are coming from with that! When I was experiencing it all I didn't really notice, until I finally started going out and getting back to normal, then I realized how different life was and how much I MISSED some things. Life will never be the same now that we have kiddos, but most (if not all) the good stuff from before eventually can creep back in... and we have the added bonus of having these great little people in our lives! Rees is sooooo cute!!!
