When Benjy and I got married, we of course didn't have very much furniture. We didn't have a kitchen table or any chairs. Luckily Benjy's Mom has lent us her mother's first table and we slowly bought 2 folding chairs and were given another 2 folding chairs for Christmas about a year later. So for 3 and a half years we have had folding chairs and Grandma Weber's ancient table. We have always planned on replacing them but it has never worked out. I have recently decided that since we are no longer students the folding chairs are no longer acceptable. I have spent lots of time rummaging through yard sales (which are not very good in Utah County. It is hard to find a good deal when EVERYONE is the area is trying to find a good deal or get as much as they can for something) and D.I.s I have finally and slowly acquired four chairs. The thought has been to refinish them in different colors with a black table. Sounds crazy but it actually looks awesome (Thanks for the idea Mandy :). Well sanding has been very difficult because my "little supervisor" won't give me any space or stop trying to eat the sand paper. So here are some pictures of him trying to be helpful.

Cool! We (well, mostly Travis...) re-finished/painted our craigslist found kitchen chairs before we moved. It was a lot more work than I thought it would be. (Hence the reason it didn't get done before I left the state and Trav had to finish....) wa ha ha
