2008 Beijing Olympic Games

I love the Olympics! I especially love the summer games. Growing up, I was obsessed with the all the gymnastic events, the swimming, the diving, etc. Christina and I were so into it that during the Olympics one summer, we built our own "mini balance beam" in the back yard. Yep, good times. This summer's games are extra special because we know one of the Olympians! That's right people, everyone needs to watch and cheer for Josh McAdams who will be running the 3000m Steeple Chase in Beijing. Josh is currently one of our neighbors and is in our ward. He and his wife are the nicest people so we REALLY want him to win. We have been watching Josh run past our building for months while training for this. It has been really fun to watch. A little while ago we even had ESPN camped out in the cult-a-sac trying to catch Josh. Funny, huh? Anyways, good luck to Josh and we hope you totally kick butt!

very cool! I set up a balance beam in my yard too when i was younger. I thought up a whole routine and performed it for my family!! GReat minds think alike I guess.
Oh the program I use is PICASA. Just type in Picasa.com and download it. There are some tricks to it so if you want any help let me know!

The balance beam! Do you know I put one in my front yard and Estella loves to walk and play on it! She has great balance. If she only knew that her mom and friends did this when they were little.

I was just joking about the dead battery thing, I just knew you would read it, so I thought it would be funny to call you out. It really was no big deal :). Hope you had a fun weekend!
