I decided to do try the pudding paint idea.
It worked really well until Rees discovered the paint tasted good. Now I am worried I may have taught him a bad thing. That pitfall aside, the activity was a huge hit!
See that wadded up mess in his hands? That would be his work of art. All of his paintings ended up like looking this way :)
Luckily, pudding is easy to clean up.

first of all-- pudding paint looks really fun! I think I'm going to do that with just me and Derrick. Seriously.
and second, I forgot to put on the blog that that flowery wall thingy is made of felt! so its really cheap and not permanent.
