Benjy and I have decided that we must have finally gotten luck. We are totally falling in love with Tonopah. Sure it's the ghetto, and there is NOTHING here (seriously, not even a real hardware store, movie theater, nothing) and the closest Walmart or Target is 3 hours away, but we still love it. This weekend was the Jim Butler Days festivities. I'm not really sure what Jim Butler did but apparently he was important. The whole weekend has been full of the small charm. Last night some resturant vendors come out including a Winger's booth and we got to have chicken wings and afterwards there was a town street dance. I wanted to stay for the street dance SO bad but Rees had to go to bed. This morning there was a pancake breakfast and a really pathetic and endearing parade. They had a whole bunch of races and things today but I didn't stay. Benjy has been working all day and I got tired of having everyone give me the sinlge mom pity looks. Tonight there are even dirt track races. How cute is that? Anyways. Ben and I were discussing last night how much we really do like it here. We love the scenery, we love the friends we have made (Hey Sheena, I met Toni! She is so cool!), and we really love our tiny little ward. We even love our crappy house. The best part is that Benjy completely loves his job. No matter what time he comes homes and no matter how long he works, he comes home with a huge smile on his face. I love it! I hope he keeps like this career so much. It makes the last 18 months worth it to have him be so happy.
