So Rees is becoming quite the chatter. He vocabulary is very rapidly growing and he even loves to mimic our words. During all of this there is still one word he REFUSES to say. Mommy. Or momma, mom, etc. He has been saying Daddy for months and even says some other peoples names. I think Rees has made it his mission in life to see how far he can push me before I go nuts. I thought all babies first word was mommy. What is wrong with my kid? Maybe I should be worried.
Favorite words (said in his cute baby way of course): Milk, turkey, dog, truck, banana, daddy, bampa (grandpa), teeth, walk, yes, yup, spoon, water, drink, head, tub and phone. He can say other words but these are things he really recognizes and says without any prompting.

That is completely how Parker was...he didn't really say Mom until after he was 2. It was a little funny because it took my niece to realize that he called me "das." Too funny. Maybe he has another name for you :)
He looks so grown up! My goodness...what a cutie, when is number 2 going to happen?
