Christmas time!

We had an AWE.some Christmas this year. Sure the month was a rough one, but we decided that it just made the holidays better. The festivities started with Jeff coming home on December 23rd from his mission in Australia. Ya! He's home! This meant we had TONS of family around for Christmas. I was in heaven. We had a Cooper Family Fiesta, Christmas party, Homecoming party, etc, etc. So fun.

Christmas morning was amazing. We totally got spoiled rotten and we loved it. I think this was the best Christmas we have had in a while. I can't decide if that is because this is the first Christmas in three years we weren't dealing with unemployment, my family was finally together again, this was the first Christmas Ben and I could afford to get each other a Christmas gift, or because Rees had a bawl. Which ever reason it was, it was wonderful and I am so grateful.
(I love how Chris is buried in wrapping paper!)

After the presents were opened, we had some traditions to fulfill. We headed to the foot of the mesa to go shooting. Nothing says Christmas like guns!

See that teeny tiny puff of black smoke? I hit the target!

And this would be why people lie about who their family is :)
