Redefining My Goals

I want to try and learn some things. The time has past for me to do many of these things but I have come up with replacements. Here are the originals with the newbies.

I have always wanted to learn how to skateboard. I'm not talking about the leisurely stroll down the sidewalk, I mean the BMX crazy stuff. Since that is now beyond me, I would like to replace it with long boarding. My roommates used to do it and it always looked so fun but I have always been a chicken. I think I am over the fear, I wanna try.

Next item, learn Spanish. Realistically, this is never going to happen. I have decided to change this one to learn to speak English with out shuddering. Way easier said than done though.

And last but not least, I wished I had learned to play the guitar. Specifically an electric guitar. For some reason, I have always wanted to be able to rock out on an electric guitar. I guess I kind of got a little bit of the "rock'n out" part out of my system by playing the drums in school. (By the way, I played on Benjy's drum set not to long ago. Turns out there are some things you never forget. Thank goodness!) So maybe someday I will learn to play the acoustic guitar. I probably won't, but at least it's still possible.

Now that I have bared my soul to all, I have to go wash dishes. Am I crazy for wanting to do random things like this?

Go Ashley! You could totally learn Spanish online. That is also something I have been considering.
