the Comeau Clan

I made it to Overton and Benjy is living the bachelor's life in Carson City. Everyone who sees me asks if we have split (and the scary part is that they are serious). I am happy to say we are still married. Even though I haven't been here very long, I can honestly say that I am loving the weather. It has been great to go outside and not have my head blown off by 100 mile an hour winds. The even more exciting news is that Rees and I get to go to Canada next week! My mom is going to visit my grandparents and we have been invited. Yeah! I am really excited. I am still working on a driving strategy for Rees so hopefully he won't be to hideous. Rees has learned quite a few new tricks lately. Today's new stunt was discovering his nostril. He kept walking around with his finger in his nose. The funny part about it was that he wasn't "digging" for anything, he was just walking around with his finger working like a cork in his nose. He is also talking much more. The silliest thing he saying is daddy. He calls both Benjy and I daddy. The little stinker refuses to say mommy. When I get really miffed about it I can make myself feel better when I remember that Rees hasn't said the word no yet. If I ever get my computer working, I have a million cute pictures of Rees that I need to put up. Except for the missing Benjy part of life, I have been feeling so blessed and greatful for the opportunity we have. I have enjoyed being home and I have loved seeing my friends. I am looking forward to having a fun time here but I can't wait until Benjy gets to come home!
